This hand carved feature adds style to a garden. Its chiselled sides allow the water to cascade down the feature. In contrast to its chiselled sides it has one highly polished edge which allows the water to run smoothly down the feature. Having a contrast in water flow, it adds interest and a harmony of different running water sounds. Cut from natural basalt this is our most popular water feature. With its rustic edges and highly polished top it looks naturally stunning in any garden. The added plinth adds height to the water feature which increases the sound and allows you to see the water trickle over the edges.

Please note that basalt comes naturally out of the ground in hexagon-like shapes but will not always be perfectly symmetrical.

All of these basalt columns are all individually unique in many ways which will compliment both traditional and modern gardens. Basalt columns make excellent water features they are highly durable creating excellent focal points which will give many years of enjoyment in your garden.
